Das Projekt Eigenbau Deluxe Electric Mistress begann 2007, als ich die Platinen nach dem Layout von JD Sleep geätzt habe. Die Schaltung entpricht der Deluxe Electric Mistress V2 von 1979. Leider habe ich damals vergessen den SAD1024 zu bestellen. Damals war er noch für einen vernünftigen Preis erhältlich. Als ich später eine Electric Mistress bauen wollte, war das IC dann nirgends zu einem vernünftigen Preis aufzutreiben. Mir wurden welche von 150 US$ bis 280 US$ angeboten.

Dezember 2011 konnte ich durch Zufall einen SAD1024A für 39 € kaufen und die Deluxe Electric Mistress fertigbauen. Als Gehäuse habe ich ein Hammond 1590 DD verwendet, dazu original DAKA Knöpfe und bedruckbare Wasserabziehbilder.

I started building my DIY Deluxe electric Mistress in 2007 by etching the PBC with the JD Sleep layout. The schematic is from the 1979 Deluxe Electric Mistress V2. At that time the SAD1024 had been still widely available for a reasonable price, but somehow i forgot ordering one and also the PCB had been lying deserted in a drawer. Later when I wanted to build myself a DIY Electric Mistress I tried to get a SAD1024 but could not find an affordable one. I had been offered some NOS in a price range of 150 US$ to 280 US$.

In December 2011 I finally got a SAD1024A for 39 € and could finish the DIY Deluxe electric Mistress. I put it in a Hammond 1590 DD, put on real DAKA knobs and made the finish by waterslide decals.
